interlübke living survey 2012 to mark the 75th anniversary as a gift to the nation

To mark its 75th anniversary, the manufacturer of high-quality furniture made in Germany is dedicating it opinion survey "Germany in private – How the Germans live 2012" to the nation. The results will be of benefit to many: opinion leaders, designers and the trade – but above all to every resident.

"We must differentiate between role models in the media and the actual situation in the resident nation," explains Managing Partner Leo Lübke, "but in particular we must take social developments into consideration." interlübke is using the anniversary year 2012 to set the future direction of the company and pursuing its mission to promote contemporary living culture. For this reason, the furniture manufacturer commissioned TNS Emnid with a representative opinion survey, the results of which will benefit both professional circles and the population as a whole. "When buying furniture the majority of Germans orientate themselves to functionality and longevity – values to which interlübke has remained committed with the manufacture of high-quality furnishings since its foundation in 1937." The company does not focus on short-lived designs, but renews its programme annually with innovative models that enrich home life with multifarious functions such as the integration of digital media. "Our study shows that the living room continues to be the centre of people's lives," says Leo Lübke, "and this applies across all generations and income levels." For this feelgood space – not only of the Germans – the company has developed a pioneering item of furniture and a modular programme  in 2012. The audio/living furniture "musikbox" recently presented at the Milan Furniture Fair transforms a room into a concert hall with its unparalleled sound quality. "bookless", an elegant furniture concept for the 21st century, can be configured as a mobile room divider, illuminated shelving or floating wall element.
