„Table Art“: Ceramics by Doris Bank in the COR und interlübke Haus

How does ceramicist Doris Bank (47) manage to enthral her public both at home and abroad? Why do Asians and Europeans alike love her fine tableware, not to mention her decorative dishes, trays and accessories? What are the techniques, how much artistry is there behind each unique, handcrafted item? Our exhibition shows the most beautiful pieces from the current collection: Table Art made of fine porcelain and earthenware.

The white series "Gold Star Dishes" with its radiant golden beams perfectly captures the mood of the season. Aesthetes and the chronically homely who are prone to love at first sight can order these works or, with a bit of luck, take them straight home.
