The L bed is available in dark oak or, as shown here, in lacquer. As you can see, you can have it in “normal sizes” too instead of with the wide headboard and its built-in shelves. Then again, normal . . . would you really call this bed “normal” ?

No matter how long it takes: at some time or other everyone has made it in the life that was meant for them. At some time everyone grows up. The L bed is a really adult bed. Stylish, elegant, unobtrusive, perfect in form or austere — call it what you will. But when it comes to sleeping in it there’s one word only, and that’s “excellent”.

Whether you like to sleep higher or lower is a matter of taste. The fact is that both heights are comfortable. If you still find it difficult getting up — it really can’t be because of your bed any more.

It’s not a matter of being lazy, but a certain degree of comfort really ought to be allowed, especially where a bed is concerned. With the L bed you don’t need to get out of bed any more to turn off the light.
