Inspiration
U is a lovely letter: it sounds soft and pleasantly deep, and when it’s written it’s appealing too in its cheerful simplicity. Now, it would probably be overdoing things a bit to mention that a letter of the alphabet, of all things, might have given us the inspiration for a bed. Soft, pleasant and unobtrusive, it still is our U bed. In the version illustrated on the right, what’s special is that the mattress finishes flush with the foot end.

Inspiration
The winter can stay outside, summer as well, as far as we’re concerned. Since you can only really do one thing in this bed: stay put. Regardless of which of the 16 versions in total you decide on. You read that right: you can have the U bed in 16 versions. As hard as it is to believe — you can count them if you like.
